Dr. Simaan Shini received a Bachelors of Science from Texas A&M University in 1998 and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University Eye Institute in Houston in 2004. Prior to achieving his Doctor of Optometry he attended St. Thomas University for a Masters in Finance. He completed his clinical training at the renowned Karolinska St. Eriks Eye Hospital in Stockholm Sweden, and Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
He is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and is a Texas licensed Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Shini is a member of the local chamber of commerce in College Station, Texas. He has been a guest speaker at Texas A&M and has practiced in College Station since 2004.
Dr. Shini's practice concentrates on the family eye care, specialty contact lens services, and the treatment and management of ocular disease with particular focus on Dry Eye, Allergies, Glaucoma and Diabetes.
